Gamboge helps Etsy sellers edit listings, change prices and understand their sales. This page explains exactly what we store and why.

What we store

• Your email address, to sign you in, and when you accepted these terms.
• Your Etsy shop's name, ID and currency, and the access token Etsy gives us when you connect. Tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored.
• A copy of your listings (titles, descriptions, tags, prices, photos' addresses) so pages load quickly and changes can be undone. It is refreshed from Etsy at least every 3 hours while you use the app.
• Your sales as line items: listing, quantity, price, date and country. We never store buyer names, emails, addresses or messages.
• Your shop reviews (rating and text), for the dashboard.
• A log of every change made through Gamboge, with the before and after, so you can undo it.
• Whether you want the Monday email, and which weeks it was sent. The email summarizes your shop's week (sales, the store review, what to do first); turn it off from the account menu or with the link in any email.
• If you join the waitlist: your email and, if you give it, your shop's name, only to invite you to the preview. Ask us and we'll delete it.

AI features

When you ask for a store review or a listing suggestion, the relevant shop data (sales totals, listing text and the checks we ran) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write it. Buyer data is never included. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Suggestions are never saved to Etsy unless you choose to apply them.

Who can see it

Only people you've added to your shop in Gamboge. We don't sell or share your data. Our service providers are Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and sign-in) and Anthropic (AI features).

Disconnecting and deletion

We keep your data only while your shop is connected. Disconnecting your shop deletes its tokens, cached listings, sales, reviews and change log from Gamboge. You can also revoke access any time in your Etsy account settings under Apps.
